Community Rehabilitation Worker – Brain Injury Services
This dynamic frontline position provides direct supports to individuals living with an acquired brain injury. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing “wholistic” supports in the areas of; program development and implementation, teaching life skills within the individual’s home or the community, facilitating group activities, assessing client needs and researching available community resources. The needs of the individuals URSA supports vary. Having a background or knowledge of behaviours, addictions, and social services is an asset.
The successful candidate will be an effective team player as well as someone who shows initiative and can work independently. The candidate is able to effectively communicate, collaborate, compromise and carry out team decisions. They are also effective problem solvers and strive to promote a positive environment within the program.
